TO HAVE COURAGE

Written for Poets United's Midweek Motif:
COURAGE

To have courage
is to live in peace
to walk with ease
to speak as you please
to be light as the breeze.

To have courage
is to be a King
To have courage
is to achieve great things

Without courage
is like a silent scream
is like an evil dream
is like a bird without wings
is like a cursed being

To not have courage
is to be nothing
To not have courage
is to lose your blessings.

  1. Sometimes it shows courage when one is fearful but does it anyway. Smiles. One might feel very kingly then for sure.

  13. Well-penned, James. Courage sustains us in a peaceful and good existence. Evil people are those without courage, bravery or peace...
